Jun Takahashi was born in Japan in 1969. He first entered the Bunka Academy of Fashion in 1988 and it was in this year that he originated the Under Cover brand. He graduated in fashion design and in 1994 held his first Autumn/Winter collection. Since then he has established a fashion empire with over 30 stores in Japan. Jun Takahashi has won just about every fashion award in Japan including the prestigious Grand Price in Mainichi fashion sponsored by the ‘Mainichi’ national daily newspaper.
