German artist Albert Oehlen is closely associated in the Cologne art scene and Junge Wilde movement along with contemporaries Martin Kippenberger and Werner Buttner, and founded “Liga zur Bekämpfung widersprüchlichen Verhaltens” (League against contradictory behaviour) in 1976. His works focuss exclusively on exposing art’s failures, successfully! Herewithin are 16 new paintings, not yet exhibited….
