Jessica Ogden

Jessica Ogden was born and raised in Jamaica, later styling at the Rhode Island School of Design in America, after which she relocated to London. Graduating from the Byam Shaw School of Art. Launching her own label in 1993 Jessica quickly became a popular addition to London Fashion Week where her ‘one-off’ pieces and unconventional presentations won her critical and commercial success. Jessica has been included in exhibitions in London, Prague, Antwerp and Tokyo and is regularly featured in publications such as Self Service, Italian Vogue, British Vogue, Japanese Vogue and Teen Vogue USA amongst others. Her modern interpretation of traditional techniques such as hand-stitching, hand-printing and layering have become her trademarks and will be incorporated into the Fred Perry collaboration.

In Jessica Ogden’s collaboration work with Fred Perry, Jessica uses references of shape, fabric and the feeling of Fred Perry from the 1930s through to the 1980s. Combining these with the most popular styles and colours from her own label. The Fred Perry Jessica Ogden collection will also feature its own laurel, adapted form the Fred original.
